Why Fortune May Favor The Brave In CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying

It was a week of storms for USA Coach Jürgen Klinsmann. First there was the storm of controversy with critical quotes being attributed to unnamed squad players questioning Klinsmann’s approach, his tactical acumen and favoritism towards German-American players he has actively recruited to the squad.

The second was the snow-storm that hit Denver and perhaps offered up some solace to Klinsmann.

The problems of the last seven days are a ways removed from the wide-spread optimism of just ten months ago. Five wins in a row against Slovenia, Venezuela, Panama, Italy and Scotland included three clean sheets and the talk was more about the damage the USA could do at the 2014 World Cup Finals in Brazil rather… to read more please click on the link.
